Founder's story

Doctors gave me pills. Nature gave me healing.

In 2020, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. My health deteriorated quickly, and I found myself trapped in a period of hospital stays, countless appointments and medication that wasn’t giving me the improvement I’d hoped for.

It changed the way I looked at my health. I began focusing much more on nutrition, gut health and the things I could do every day to support my wellbeing.

That’s when sea moss became part of my life.

It became a daily habit — but I hated how inconvenient the traditional jar was. So I created a better way to have it.

SeaMore is wildcrafted St. Lucian sea moss, made into great-tasting, natural and nutrient-rich sea gel and conveniently portioned into sachets.

01
WHEN MY HEALTH CHANGED EVERYTHING

In 2020, shortly after graduating from university, I went from living a normal life to being diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, a chronic inflammatory bowel condition.

My health deteriorated to the point where hospital visits, tests and medication became part of my normality.

I followed the treatment I was given, but I wasn't getting back to myself. When one medication didn't work as hoped, it often meant a higher dose, another medication or something stronger mostly bringing side effects of their own.

I knew I needed to start looking at my health more holistically, rather than relying on medication alone.

02
RETHINKING WHAT WELLNESS MEANT TO ME

I began working with a gut health coach and completely reconsidered my nutrition, gut health and everyday habits.

It wasn't about replacing medicine with a miracle ingredient. It was about taking a more active role in my own wellbeing and understanding the impact of what I did consistently.

That's when I discovered sea moss.

It became one part of a much bigger lifestyle change and, over time, one of the habits that stuck.

But there was one thing about it I couldn't get past.

I hated the jar.

03
I LOVED SEA MOSS. I HATED THE JAR.

Traditional sea moss gel usually comes in a large refrigerated jar.

For something I wanted to have every day, I found the format inconvenient; measuring portions, using a spoon and trying to finish the whole jar while it was still fresh.

But I also didn't want convenience to come at the expense of keeping the product as natural as possible. If fresh sea moss gel needs to be kept cold, I was happy to keep it that way. I just wanted a better format for it.

That's where the idea for individual sachets came from.

Instead of one large jar, every daily portion could be individually sealed and kept frozen, allowing you to simply thaw what you need while the rest stays frozen and fresh.

No repeatedly opening the same jar. No
measuring. No spoon. And no need to compromise the product just to make it more convenient.

One portion at a time. That idea became Sea More.

A BETTER WAY TO SEA MOSS

We take wildcrafted sea moss from the waters of St. Lucia, make it into a smooth, great-tasting gel and portion it into individual 20g sachets.

Every box contains 28 daily sachets - a four-week supply.

Have it straight from the sachet or add it to something you already enjoy. Simple, convenient and designed to actually fit into your day.

Because my experience taught me something that still shapes Sea More today:

The things you do consistently matter more than the things you do occasionally.

Sea moss was where that started for me.

Sea More is where I'm taking it next.
